2022 BHS Boys Lacrosse Booster Scholarship Winners!

NIKASH CHHADIA - Academic Scholarship

Nik has been a valuable Bronco's lacrosse team player for his entire high school career. In describing the importance of our program to him, Nik said that: “Being part of the BHS lacrosse community has made me a stronger person by teaching me many vital skills including composure, resilience, and teamwork.”

Those skills come through in his performance on as well as off the field. Throughout his time at BHS Nik's academic achievements have earned him a place in the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, BHS Math Team, and Engineering and Key Clubs. Nick has also tutored fellow AP students and spent over 36 hours volunteering for a variety of worthy causes. His weighted GPA of 4.7 further reflects his dedication to excellence.

Nik will be attending Stanford University this fall to study Computer Science and Engineering.

CHARLIE RENO - Leadership Scholarship
Charlie is an all around leader. He has been his team’s defensive MVP every year and is a Varsity team captain. He is a player who keeps his cool under pressure while continuing to take charge on the field. As a freshman, when the team needed him, he moved his position to goal tender. As a referee, he has learned the intricate in’s and out’s of the game. It's no wonder his teammates rely on him.

Charlie has also gone above and beyond as a leader through his volunteer work, particularly with our youth programs. Additionally, in school, he is the vice president of the Economics Club and he was honored with an appointment onto the Athletic Leadership Council. All this makes him a lacrosse leader it will be hard to do without.

Charlie plans to attend the University of Utah and major in Civil Engineering.
